COMMUNITY HEALTH BARAZA EMPOWERS RESIDENTS TO IMPROVE HEALTH SERVICES IN KACHUMBALA SUB-COUNTY
The Community Health Baraza held in Kachumbala Sub-county, Bukedea District, brought together residents, district leaders, health workers, Village Health Teams (VHTs), civil society organizations, and other stakeholders to openly discuss the quality of health services and identify practical solutions to improve healthcare delivery.
The Baraza served as an important accountability platform where community members freely engaged duty bearers on issues affecting healthcare access, maternal and child health, medicine availability, sanitation, staffing, and disease prevention.
